    1928 C Series $2 Bill
    Hello All,

I have recently acquired a $2 bill. After reading a lot of other posts about this type of thing, I will include all the information I think might be important. I am no bill collecter but would like to see what others think.

    Series of 1928 C
    Red Stamp Legal Tender
    Montecello on the back
    VF Condition
    Printed in Washington D.C.
    Treasurer - W. A. Suline?
Secretary of Treasury - Henry Morgenthau Jr.

If it is a 1928 "C" series, and in VF condition, it could be worth as much as a few hundred dollars or as little as ten. I highly recommend that you DO NOT fold the bill. This will lower its value tremendously. However, this can only be determined by physically inspection the note in person. You CANNOT get an accurate grading of the note by means of looking at a picture of it. If you have a local stamp and coin shop in your area, bring it to them. I would recommend getting a second opinion no matter how much or how little someone tells you its worth.

Thank you for your feedback. I will definitely look into going to a local coin shop and getting an estimate. If you want some more details, I can describe it to you.

It has 3 vertical creases and one horizontal crease which I am currently flattening out
No smudging of the letters or colors
    No fade in colors
    Everything is still clearly visible
Most dirt is on the back side where the picture of Montecello is

That's the best I can describe it to my knowledge. Let me know if this can help you at all so that I can have some extra info when I bring it in to a collector.

I'll still take as much feedback as possible from anyone willing to throw in some information! Thanks again.

    Your welcome.
Unfortunately, knowing that there are folds in it (even if flattened out), puts its value somewhere between $10-$50 depending on if there are any other flaws and how many. Let me know how you make out at a coin shop.
    Thank You and Good Luck!
