My husband and I have been trying to Trying to conceive since May 2010, we conceived our first after only being off the pill for 2 weeks. I have missed my period in July and August of 2010 then got my period November and December 2010 and I have not had it since. I just recently purchased an ovulation kit and every day it has come out with a very dark line positive for about 6 days straight and every random day I have peed on it. I have taken pregnancy tests and even been to the doctor where they confirmed not pregnant through urine test. I had had sore boobs and heartburn for a few weeks now. Can someone help with what is going on with my body?

Ovulation tests are designed to look for LH levels. Some women have naturally high levels of LH, which make an ovulation test appear positive at all times. Other women have naturally lower levels, which make the tests appear negative, even if they are ovulating.

Since your periods sound irregular, I suggest seeing your doctor soon. It could be nothing, but its worth looking into since you've been Trying to conceive for several months now.
