HI received this poem in 1975. When I was 17.Today 36 years later I reunited with my first love. And was able to ask him if he wrote it or copied it.He said that he had copied it and could not remember who wrote it. I've carried this poem with me for 36 years and would love to know who wrote it.All these years it has been one of my most special treasures... As dawn comes over the horizon.and shines though my parted curtains.I turn my face towards yours.and reach out to touch you.With sleep still heavy on me.I move closer to feel the warmth radiating from your body.Your arms encircle me and draw me towards you.I hear you murmuring my name.as you gently smooth the hair from my face.I turn my face towards yours. And await your kiss.Fully awake now.I open my eyes.and realize it was only a dream.With a sigh I get out of bed.ready to face the day.And hope tomorrow it won't be a dream.That you'll really be besides me when I awake.
