    Name change before citizenship
    I am from another country and would like to do a name change before I get my citizenship.can this be done and how

    Are you asking about changing your name in another Country and then coming to the US?

    If you're divorced and want to have your name change,
    File form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, with $450 fee.

    If your marital status remains the same but you want your name change, you need court order before filing I-90.
