My computer doesn't see that there is a dvd/rw drive
Hi, I have a toshiba a215. My dvd/rw drive disappeared. It happened about a month ago and I was able to get it to work by doing a restore and reupdating all my software. Now I can't get the system restore to work. I'm running windows vista, I updated my drivers and even went as far as updating the bios from 1.00 to 2.00. The drives door will open and close and spin a cd when installed, but will not even show up in my computer that there is a D: drive installed. I'm thouroughly confused. Any help is much appreciated
