    How do I record on vcr when I have Dish Network

    You run an output from the Dish Network box into your VCR. And then from the VCR to the TV.

Can't get VCR to record with new Dish network. [ 0 Answers ]

I just upgraded to HD on The Dish Network. One TV has a receiver (and has HD capabilities) the other TV does not have a receiver (because it isn't HD). I can set up VCRs to play on both TVs, but I can't get it to record. Any ideas? Thanks!

Had Dish installed recently and can't figure out how to use my VCR's with it. Never had any problem using it with digital cable. The Dish installer seemed to hook the VCR to the receiver properly but I'm unable to record anything. Wish there was a "Guide for Dummies" to walk me through this...
