If the parents of the child don't find you fit to adopt, it's unlikely you will be allowed to adopt.

The parents would have to give up their rights in order for the adoption to go through. Both parents.

Are they planning on putting their kids up for adoption, or is this just something you want?

    How old are you?

I agree with Altenweg. One thing I will touch base on is the fact that being seen fit to adopt includes three different set of people.

    1. The State
    2. The Parents
    3. The children.

All three have to see you fit. Just because you're family doesn't mean the state doesn't get involved. You can't just adopt kids without going through the proper channels.

Why do you believe they think you're unfit?

Is this adoption likely or hypothetical? If likely, why?
