    Lost my information bar in Firefox
    This happens to me occasionally, but I just close the browser and reopen it and the information bar (where I see the url of links that I hover over) comes back.

    ... but it's happened again and now I can't get it back. Any suggestions?

    View > Status Bar.
    Make sure it's checked ;)

    Feedback: It happened to me again, so I googled

    Firefox lost information bar

    ... and this thread was the #1 hit!

    I found that Status Bar WAS checked, so I just restarted Firefox and it came back.
