    About windows xp some nv4 driver ?
    I have this error showing up sometimes but very often, and I want to know if anyone knows how to repair it... :/
    When I play any game, pic becomes like some painting with so many colors, and I have ti restart my computer some times it shows that there is some problem with windows nv4 driver or something nearli like that...
    I made a pic of what is showing after I restart my computer...

    Have you tried updating your video drivers? NV4 sounds like Nvidia (video card) driver.

    I haven't. Yes I have and vidia GEFORCE 9600 GT and I'm afraid to download it because of viruses from internet, so can you send me a link where I can download it without threats? :confused:

    Another thing is if your worried about viruses then you need some good protection. This one has a free version and works really well.

    Nothing left to say here.

    I praise you for being cautious on the web but vendor sites are a good place to go for downloads.

    And yes making sure you have an AV (and its consistently updated) is a good place to start. The link provided by Califdadof3 is legit and it's a good product to have and use.

    I downloaded update for my graphic card, but when I installed it some of the letters on my desktop icons became blank and hard to read... and even whem I'm writing in word... so I did system restore... and I don't know what seems to be the problem??
