Tooth breaks, throat and ear pain?
I recently had my last wisdom tooth come in, on the top right side. Well this past Friday half of the tooth before my wisdom tooth, cracked and fell apart , almost in half. I woke up today, the following Monday and I have throat pain on the right side, and the tonsil is swollen, and really sore, and has progressed to an earache as well. What does this mean?

It means you have to get the half that didn't fall out removed by the dentist... because #1 you have a raw nerve exposed so its going to hurt like hell, #2 you opened it up to possibly get an infection.

Sometimes you don't have to have them out... mine for example were small enough they barely erupted from the gums and weren't even close to impacting... conversely in your case with a tooth that split in half, half of which remains you HAVE to get it out ASAP. Its not going to fix itself.

That seems to be what everyone is saying, funny thing is, I haven't had any pain, not even when the tooth broke, it just simply fell out. And now I have the throat and ear pain. I assume its an infection, but shouldn't my tooth actually hurt?

    Not necessarily.
I had ear pain for years and even saw ENT specialists before discovering on my own that the pain was from a rear molar that didn't hurt.

Pain can be a funny thing. Your body can actually be confused by the exact source and appear to be reacting in some other way from some other thing.

Hurt my ankle bad one day... figured just a sprain. Thought I'd wait to see how it felt the next day because while there was discomfort I could still walk on it.

Next morning I got up went to walk to the bathroom to do what guys usually do when they wake up. Walked about 10 feet and had the worst about of nausea I've had in decades... cold sweats and all. Ankle hurt but not that awefully bad. Turns out the Nausea was my bodies reaction to severe pain... and somehow my mind was blocking out exactly how bad it was.

Moral of the story is, your body can lie to you. Particularly when you KNOW you have one problem that's being ignored and while it doesn't bother you something else certainly appears to be.
