i just dont know what this lingo means.. ehh.
1/20 CT means the stone is 1/20th of a carat in weight. It's pretty small.
The necklace is 1/6 CT which means it is 1/6th of a carat and each stone is pretty small. I haven't a clue what the 30 round means other than there could be 30 different stones in the necklace. You'll need a microscope to see them if there are 30 of them.
If diamonds are that small they are essentially iddy biddy stones and are practically worthless if you were to take one of those stones out and try to sell one individually.
Years ago I used to make gold jewelry and set diamonds. I once had a diamond necklace that had 1 CT stones. There were 10 of those stones separated by a twisted gold braid. Each individual diamond was in their own setting. I broke the necklace down and made individual rings out of each diamond. I made one ring out of a gold rose and set the biggest diamond in the center and wore for my own personal ring for many years. In the necklace you described above you could not do that sort of thing.
