Should I store my iPhone as pictured on http://newjerseyselfstorage.org
Should I store my iPhone in a nearby storage facility as seen on http://newjerseyselfstorage.org for $15/month?

I have to leave the country for awhile and will not be able to use it where I am going? There are many storage facilities listed on the site, but none of them have details that describe insurance and recovery should something happen to it in the next 12 months.

I'm a college student and had to store all my stuff over summer in a pretty sketchy area in a self storage unit. This included countless electronics and a $600 bike. Mine had optional insurance that I declined. I put pretty much the fattest lock I could find on my unit and it was fine for 3 1/2 months. I really don't see a problem with it. Check out the location of your storage options and go in and inquire about insurance and things of that nature. Yes, some units get broken into but I've had no negative experience's myself and will continue to use self storage units.
