GE Monogram ZISB420DMC, side-by-side, built-in, refrigerator. I have been changing the water filter for 7 years. I changed it today and water started spewing out where the filter goes. I had to cut the water off and was able to install the filter; turned the water back on and it seemed fine. I tried to take the filter out again and again water started spewing out, like a hose. As long as the bypass or the filter is installed it appears to be fine, but the second the filter/bypass is removed water starts running out. It has never done this before and I cannot stop it without turning the water off. What is causing this to happen? I'm worried that if I leave it like this, even though it appears fine as long as the filter is in place.
