Apparently, the song "God Gave Rock N' Roll To You" is original from the English rock band ARGENT, and was released as the opening song from the record "IN DEEP" (1973) under the short name "God Gave Rock N' Roll".
More info can be found in the Wikipedia page of the group Argent, and a video of them can be seen here:

Animated movie about "birth" of rock n roll, in the 80s [ 6 Answers ]

There was an animated movie back in the 80s about a young man in the streets who ends up a rock and roll star. There were some great songs on the soundtrack by Gerry Rafferty, Bruce Hornsby, Bob Seeger and such. Anybody know the title of that movie and where I might get a hold of a DVD?

Fraggle Rock - original air time? [ 4 Answers ]

My friends and I are in an argument about Fraggle Rock, when it originally aired on HBO. What was the official start time of Fraggle Rock? My friends swear it was aired during the day, but I swear up and down I remember watching it in primetime. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated....
