    Yes the gas valve receives 24v for abot 2 seconds then nothing

    Check electrical polarity of power wiring to furnace. Some newer units will turn into a pumpkin if the a/c power polarity is not correct. Just reverse hot/neutal wires. Usually get trouble flash on mother board also.
