    Well first you did not say what town, in what state if in the US, and if not in US what nation.

    But even if you did, there is no data base on this, you are going to have to do homework, talk to past owners, talk to people living in the area for a long time, go to police station, local news papers and see what you can find sometimes after hours of research though newspaper searches
