Home owner insurance company refuses to pay for an assessment
I own a condominium and I was recently assessed by the association for exterior building water damage. What do you do when your home owner insurance company refuses to pay for an assessment when it's clearly states in my policy that I'm covered in excess of the amount that I'm assessed for.

    Sincerely,
    Suzy

What was the cause of the damage, insurance does not cover all forms of damages, depending on the policy.

Also what reason did they state for non payment in the formal letter sent to you.

Have you appealed this to them.

Has the association made a formal claim against them.
