    I have a $5 silver certificate 1934. No rips or tears. It was folded though.
    I would like to know how much it is worth

    Well, its worth $5 or more depending on where it was printed. Many go for $8-35 but you need to tell us where it was printed. A coin shop would give you the most accurate info since they can see and grade the certificate
