    Ford F150 Problem
I have a 1996 F150. When I come to a sto while driving the engine shuts off. It will restart immediately but will shut off again unless I am moving. I've had 3 different mechanics check it out but nobody can figure out the problem. The latest has said that it is most likely an electrical problem. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Thanks

    Here's what I would do:
    1. Replace spark plugs with the exact Motorcraft plug that came in the truck.
    2. Replace igniter.
    3. Replace coil.
    4. Replace spark plug wires.
    5. Replace fuel filter.

Parts for this truck are not expensive and replacing these parts will breath new life into the electrical system. It needs to be done on an 11 year old truck.
