    Citizenship requirements for subsidized housing
    We manage a HUD subsidized housing complex and I am wondering if all tenants
    Must submit copies of birth certificate as proof of citizenship, or only new tenants?

    The tenants had to prove their identities to HUD otherwise they would not have gotten approved to live there in the first place. You might want to check with HUD and see if all tenants were approved properly.
