    Lovebirds
    Hi,
I have two lovebirds. One blue and one green. The blue one died a while ago due to illness, and I suspect that the green one contracted the illness as well. Some of the symptoms the green one are showing now are watery droppings. It contains of thin Feces and excess urine. Its transparent, no white color(it smells abit too when you are too close to it). Other than that it is still cheerful and looking healthy though I doubt it is 100% healthy.I gave it marvel aid(reccomended by shop keeper) mixed with water for the water source. Half is water half is marvel aid. But not much improvements. I do not know what is the bird suffering from and I would like to know a specific medicine that will help it. Please help me!

Your post is in the wrong section of amhd.

If you repost in pets/other animals it will get more exposure to members who may be able to offer you advice.

Edit; just to add, have to talked to a vet yet?

I have a macaw who had a similar problem. She had blood in her stool and at first it started clear. It turned out to be very treatable and she was only at the vet for a couple days. It was a bit expensive as I recall only because she is a big bird and it can be hard to find avian vets but 6 years later she is doing fine as ever

Monday has come and gone. I'm just wondering what the vet told you and how your bird is doing.
