    Television (Vertical) Picture Problem
    Hello, Im new to this forum, it appears to be very useful from what I have read so far! I have a problem with my TV picture. I had a large 'black diamond' TV, maybe 4 years old. The picture narrowed to a vertical band in the centre of the TV screen - it would often click between the normal picture and this narrow central band (maybe a 3rd of the screens width). I replaced my TV to be horrified when the new one done the same - although with a smaller screen (32") the magnitude of the problem is less with maybe 2 inches of black bands bordering the picture up and down each side of the screen. Can anyone help?

    I guess my question would be what is your source? Catv, Sat, dvd, etc.. And if it is say Catv, do you get this with a dvd input as well >?

    Hey, thanks for your response to my problem. It happens with all of these inputs - no matter what the source is. I have a freeview box, ps2 and VCR - same problem with all of them.
