    Connecting a back up generator to residence power
    I have to connect a back up generator to a small printing business. A 4 Kw gen is suffice as I have done a load test. I want to know if I can connect it by taking the utility power through a break before make Isolator back to the distribution board that feeds the building. Secondly, they are using PC's and electronic printers.Do I need to install surge protection and where and how will this be installed in the circuit. Can you possibly give me a diagram for all of the above?
