    Another network problem
Guys, I am sure that you have all seen this before but I've tried googling the subject and not found anything that exactly fits.

I have a desktop PC running XP wired to a hub using ethernet cable. I have another PC running Vista through which my internet connection runs. Also connected to this second PC is my printer.

The first PC had until recently quite happily been accessing the internet and the printer with no issues. For some reason it now cannot see the printer or the second PC but can still access the internet.

I'm clearly missing something obvious. I can't be sure the someone hasn't 'fiddled' with the PC as several users have access. Can anyone suggest what this issue is please?

Make sure their on the same workgroup, (as mentioned) also make sure on your vista box network discovery is on and file sharing is on, printer sharing, and password protection is off.
