    Hearing muffled music
    When I lay down I hear what sounds like muffled music... no matter when I lay down its always there.. has anyone ever heard of this or have any idea what could cause this?

    What type of music are you hearing? Also have you had and dental work done lately?

    I'm not saying that's what you have. Only that it might be a possibility. Best to have things checked by a physician.

    Another caus can be TMJ. Its caused by an alaignment of the jaw. Laying down can bring it on or make it worse. You might want ti investigate that avenue also.

    I hadn't thought about the TMJ thing. I also have that very badly!

    Its often overlooked because it isn't very well understood. The reason being it varies so widely amongst those that have it. But the tinnitus is one of the symptoms. So it should be followed up and looked into.
