    Sanskrit -- Why?
For those of you who want tattoos translated into Sanskrit, may I ask why?

I see this request frequently and considering it's a dead language, I can't understand why its become so popular in tattoos.

    Just curious :)

Since it is a dead language, the meaning of words cannot ever change. Plus sanskrit has very precise meaning of words so there can be no confusion about the meaning of them. Oh yeah, and they look really cool and when someone asks about the language you can tell them "It's the mother of all languages!". Nice!
