how to raise an 8x12 shed off the ground
I have a wooden shed that has the floor rotted from sitting in a wet spot at times in my yard. How should we go about raising it up? Do you use a jack, and where do you put it? After it is raised, I need a new floor and then have to have a ramp of some sort to run garden tracter up into it. Your suggestions will be appreciated.

What is the shed made of and what type of construction? Is the floor actually part of the construction or is the shed just sitting on it? I have moved sheds like this by bolting 2x12 along the sides and sticking out past the end of the shed by 2'. We levered the long front edge up in the air and rolled fence posts under the raised lip, then pulled the entire she forward using a garden tractor.
