    Can't remember the movie title
    The movie starts with a young guy saving a girl from being beaten up by her seemingly boyfriend. The boyfriend then tells the guy , " You don't know what you are getting yourself into my friend ". Of course , they start a relationship. She moves in with him and strange things start to happen , people around him get hurt & killed , and it turns out the abusive boyfriend has a satanic hold on the girl . Later it's revealed that the whole thing was a set-up , with the good guy getting killed and at the end the whole game starts all over again with another guy saving the same girl from being beaten . I saw this movie in the late 80's , and I don't know the actors and the title evades me . Please help.
