    Two taps can filla tank in 75/8 hours.If tap of larger diameter take 10 hours less than the smaller one to fill the tank separately.Find the time taken by the taps to fill the tank separately?

    Think of it as how much of the tank can each tap fill in 1 hour.

    Let t be the time for the first tap to fill the tank. Then, it fills 1/t of the tank in 1 hour.

    So, we have:



    Solve for t.

    When doing these, think reciprocals.
