Hi, I'm Daniel and I'm a painter. I also draw. How do I make money from my art? More importantly at this point, how do I make instant cash from my art?

I'm not in school. I'm a self taught artist. I sent a photo but I don't know if you have seen it. I believe the photo is on the home site.

The image is on your other thread. I have seen it.

Is what you posted done in the style like that which can be found in the Renaissance or Romantic times of art?

Yes, it's a hand painted copy of an old master. I don't really have any specific personal interest in certain subjects; however, I do strive for realism.

I'm going to merge your two threads together so that there is less likely to be confusion here.

It will take me a few minutes...

Please hang onto something while I juggle the threads around!

    Threads have been merged.

Do you have any example images to post here of what you've drawn, please?

    Thanks!

Yes, I have a couple, but I'd have to dig them up. They're very good, since I started painting I don't draw as much. Drawing is easier than painting for me, although painting is getting easier too.

If you're looking to make some money faster, drawing would be a good way to do it. If you draw in pencil, there are much fewer artists who do that sort of thing these days.

    Do you have a website?

Okay. I can see that you're no longer logged on here, danielc.

I really need to get to sleep so that I can get up to work in the morning.

If you let me know what time zone you're in, perhaps we can coordinate things so that we're on here at the same time.

I can help you with the marketing of the types of art that you do.

I'm in the Central Time Zone of the U.S.

    Thanks!

I don't have a zone, I'm willing to work around the clock to fulfill my goal. I understand if you're gone to bed and await your next response. I'm in the process of getting another website going in the near future.

    Daniel,
I have recently come across Art Gallery and Community - T-shirts, Fine Art Prints, Calendars, Cards and More - RedBubble and I have been finding a lot of good artists on that site.

Maybe you could do some research if the artists make much money on that site, as the site actually sells card prints, t-shirts and even calendars of featured artists on their website.

I'll dig up a drawing to show you in a little while. And check into the pay of the t-shirt... idea you suggested.
