My belly button is a 16 gauge, I put another ring in it that's a 15 gauge.
I got my belly button pierced about three weeks ago. I got pierced with a 16 gauge. I can't find any body jewerly that is a 16 gauge, so I decided to put a size 14 gauge in. Will it affect me in anyway? What are the effects of putting a bigger gauge in then what you were pierced with?

I think you will be fine. Hey, people do it with their ear piercings. I have my nose pierced and I know some people who put earings in their nose (the studs) but they are a little bigger so their nose just kind of stretched to fit it.
Did it hurt getting your bellybutton pierced? Haha I realllly want mine done.

14g is the normal size for a navel. The only downside to navel piercings are that they are the easiest to get infected and take the longest to heal, not to mention the chances of rejection (migration).
