    Do disconnects have AIC ratings or is it just the fuse that has to carry the rating?

    All equipment that handles overcurrent protection devices have an AIC rating, see safety switches here:

    Makes sense, if an OCPD can be destructive from incorrect AIC rating, so could the device that holds an OCPD.
