Ok I want to have a smooth face but every time I shave down not every hair comes off. And when I shave against the grain it hurts and I get cut. I don't know what to do. I have been reading to keep shaving with the grain. I have been doing this for a month. But I want to have a completely smooth shave and I don't think this is going to work. Usually when I shave against the grain I would shave down first(with the grain) and then up(against the grain). I also know that the best time to shave is after a shower. Should I just start to shave against the grain right off the shower and that's it every day. Well thank you very much for your help.

Hey.. Aite well imma 14 yr old male and I started shavin last yr. And I know that you want a smooth face... Now what razor do you use? I prefer the new shick quatro the 1 with FOUR blades. I shave about twice a week and the furst time I shave ,Monday, I have smooth face then it comes back by around wesday or Thursday...

Now as for shaving with grain or against. On the top of your face... Shave with the grain on the top when you go down. Under your chin or neck shave against the grain going up. Wash your razor and make sure there isn't any hair between the bladez. I hope this helps. Bye

Try to exfolliate your face before you shave... n if you can do it like when you get right out of the shower when your pores are still open... n what I do is I use a cheaper razer because the blade sticks out more... n push a little harder when you shave.. n also use a light shaving cream because I think the heavy creamier ones make it 2 thick to shave through so try that
