    I am asking did the company break any hipa laws by taking your info off site to review to see all employees that had heath problems before we got laid off from or jobs.

    Now if they were laying people off because of disability, that is another issue, but they may take the paper work home

    Example even in medical offices many files are transcribed by workers in their homes and send it back the next day.
