    Small Claims Judgements
I live in Iowa, was sued in small claims court. I lost my case.
I don't understand how I lost when the person suing me didn't even show up in court. Is there a way to have the case dismissed?
If there is not a way to have the case and judgment dismissed,
What can I do if I can not afford to pay the judgment.
The only income I have is, Child Support and Alimony.

Did you show up in court ?

So you don't pay if you can't, they will or may try to freeze your bank accounts and can wait years for you to get a job at some point to garnish your wages
