    Particulars in securing your deposit
    Can a landlord charge for normal wear on an appliance? What guide is used to determine normal wear and tear as referred to in Tenant Landlord law?

    Hello good:

    It's a pretty vegue term. However, a court would determine normal wear and tear, thusly: If the life of an item is 10 years, and you used it for 2, normal wear and tear would be if the item were 80% new.

    In real life, he would have to show the court when he bought it, how long it should last, and how long it DID last.
