    Penalty for delayed reporting foreign accounts
    What is the penalty for delayed reporting of foreign bank accounts on T D F 9022.1 form?

    For 2008 and 2009, the due date is June 30, 2010.

    Thanks for your response. Does the requirement to file form TD F 9022.1 apply to local accounts in India (not NRO/NRE)?

    Yes, if you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien.
