I just installed the remote kit on my fan and when fan is on the light strobes on&off
I installed the universal hampton bay remote kit and when the fan runs over our bed the light strobes on and off. Quite the distraction. Anyone know a fix, is it a bad receiver?

The red is capped. The fan also has a chain which I intend on keeping on the medium setting indefinitely. ...

Fan light kit working but not fan - with or without remote [ 2 Answers ]

I have a Hunter Fan (I think) that stopped working (magically) but the light kit on it works. I had recently removed an identical model fan with light kit out of another room that was working fine when I replaced it with an updated fan. So I replaced that "non-working" fan with the other one -...

I connected the black to the black and white...
