My wife's urinalysis show 40 - 50 pus cells per hpf
My wife's age 40 urinalysis show 40 - 50 pus cells per hpf, 4-5 red cells per hpf, and traces of protiens and sugar. What is the cause of it. Does this mean she is going to be pregnant. Her last menstrual was 15 days ago?

She also has infection in her right lung. Doctor has advised him ciproxin 240 mg for a week?

    Kindly advise

Cipro is a good idea for the lung problem. Why did she have the UA in the first place? This does not mean she is pregnant. In fact, if she were pregnant, this would be an ominous sign.

That's what I thought. It just means that she has a urinary tract infection.

Obviously a urinary tract infection. If they're frequent, you need to remind about proper hygiene... wipe from front to back after a bowel movement... and if married, she may have to get up and urinate after having sex, as the husband may be pushing bacteria into her urethrea (which goes up to the bladder.)
