    Unable to copy and paste some files in word
    I have XP with word 2000 every thing works well except that there are some files that were made for me (resume) that I need to copy and paste them. I can't copy the file It does not give me the option and I can't highlight the page to copy it. Does anyone know how I can get around this problem? Thanks

    Sounds like the sheet is protected. Go to Tools > Unprotect Document

    If the UNPROTECT option asks for a password, you'll have to get the password from the user who provided the document to you. Don't bother requesting for a way around that.

    If there is no "Unprotect" option, but a "Protect" option instead, then the sheet isn't protected and something else must be wrong.
