    Partnerships or Private Ltd Companies
    If 2 people traded as a private limited company and one decided he wanted to leave, what would be the consequenses of this and would it have changed the situation if they had traded as a partnership instead?

    I really have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe if you elaborate a little.

    However, from what I can ascertain; if two people traded together as a private limited company (I don't know what that is - but it doesn't matter), that IS a partnership.

    Excon, private ltd. Companies are usually found in Europe and the Caribbean islands. They are a specific form of company organization, like an LLC or limited partnership.

    And this is a homework question. To the original poster: I suggest that first you review the legal consequences when a private limited company is disbanded and compare it to the consequences when a partnership is disbanded.
