    Grade 11 algebra
    A farmer travels in a 180kilometre distance to pretoria in a loaded truck. On his way back to the farm he travels at 30kilometre per hour and he saves 1 hour in an unloded truck, determine his speed while travelling to pretoria?

    The distances to and fro are the same.

    The distance is d=rt

    To Pretoria we have 180=rt

    Coming back he it take 1 hour less time. 180=30(t-1)

    Solve for t and r.
