    He can give up all his rights except for the right to pay child support.

    If the mother of the child is remarried and someone else is going to adopt, and the mother and father agree for him to give up the child support then that can happen also.

    But basically he does not need to really give up the other rights, since he just does not have to see the child if he does not want to, but he can be forced to pay child support and no way out of that.
