I started with a viral infection 2 weeks ago. It was a sore throat, ear pain and severe headache that lasted 3 days. All on the left side of my face. I felt better for 5 days. Went back to work and started with itchy ear pain and scratchy throat. She said there is nothing wrong except that my neck muscles on the left side are very tight. She told me to do yoga or pilates and fifix my posture. I am not getting this diagnosis.

Does sound strange, annie 777. I think you should get a second opinion to get rid of this discomfort without doing pilates (which is a core exercise, so don't know what that has to do with anything). Sounds like you have a low grade viral infection.
