What are the legal rights of an adopted donor child, once he/she reaches legal age?
Does the child have a right to know the donor-father?
If the adopted family (legal family) underwent a divorce, what child-support rights do the child have pertaining to the legal father? Especially once legal age (21) is reached?
Can the child/teen take his biological father's last name?

The child only has the right to know the "donor" father if he also wants to know the child. If the legal parents get divorced it is the same as any other divorce. Child support is for the cusdodial parent not the child period. If the child is already an adult when the divorce takes place then there will be no child support ordered. If the child (now adult) wants to change their name that is their business and he/she can go to court to have name changed to bologna sausage if that is what is desired.

    1) No there is no "right" to knowing who the father is.

    2) When the child reachs age of majority then child support stops. The only exceptions to it is where a child is still in High School. It continues till they graduate. The only other caveat is when it is in the child's best interest to continue child support. That can be the case when a medical condition is such that the child can not take care of themselves and needs special and continuing care.

    3) As already said. Once the child is of legal age they can go to court and request a name change as long as they are not doing so to evade or defraud.

There is no right but you can look him up. When child reaches age of adult support is stopped but if divorce happened before age 18 and child support was not paid but was ordered some support may be due to mother or father sometimes even child directly. You can always change your name it is your legal right to do so. If you wanted to call yourself banana jones you could it is your decision to have whatever name you want as an adult.

Child support is never paid directly to the child.

This is a legal board - please post your source.

And, yes, an adult can change his/her name according to State Law and with the Court's permission.
