    Carrier code 45
    Carrier furnace flashing a code 45 says replace control. Which control? Control board, thermostat or what?

    This refers to the circuit board diagnosing itself as faulty. Try powering the furnace off for about 15 minutes. If the code returns, the board is malfunctioning.
