    Tax return1040X
    Hi Taxexpert

My Friend came to USA on Sep 08 with L1 visa, filed as resident for 2008 on March 2009 (instead of 1040NR, he filed 1040A using turbotax).

He is still in US , Hence he passed SPT test on this year.
SO can he file 1040A for 2009 return?
also does he need to file amend 1040X for 2008?

    Expecting experts advice.
    Thanks
