    Chevy malibu 2002 clicking noise
I developed a clicking sound when using my signal in the car. The signals seem to work find but the clicking sound is rapid when I signal and slow to intermittant as long as the car is running. I discovered a recall on the hazard switch which seemed to describe my problem. The shop replaced the hazard switch for free but preemptively told me that it probably was not the cause of my clicking problem and it still clicks. For a whopping $450 dollars they want to replace my multifunction switch which they say they are 95% sure is the problem. What should I do. I feel like I'm being taken for a ride! Nobody will admit to the passlock sysem defect in these cars, so I don't trust them.
