    I got a personal lone from citibank Bahrain
    I got a personal lone of BD - 2100 from citibank Bahrain and paid few EMIs but afer copul of months I lost my job and got back to India now Some one from citi Bank`s Leagel Department calls me and is thretning me about there collection agencies in far east

    Are there any collection aggencies of citi bank bahrain in Kashmir, acctuly I lost my job and was deported for bahrain and now I am not able to pay back my personal lone which I got on my salary account in bahrain, no I getting calls from citi bank bahrain according to them they are going to reffer my case to there collection agent in india, what shold I do please help me ?

    They could sue you in local court for collection of the entire sum.
    Judgement can also lead to a freeze on assets or liens being placed on you.

    Will it be done by the citi bank bahrain or any collection aggency in Jammu and Kashmir for them because I am still unemploied and could not arrange for the payment. Are there any other options then emedite payments ?

    That's totally up to the creditor. They can pursue action themselves, they can contract with a collection agency or they can sell the debt to a junk debt dealer who will go after you. No way for us to tell what option they will take.

    There is no collection aggency of citi bank bahrain in Kashmir that I am shuren of so is ti possiable for them to file a case agganist me from any other state of India, and as I have mentioned I am unemployed so what will be there leagle acction in that case ?

    The case has to be filed either where the loan originated or where you live. The collection agency does not have to be local.

    A junk debt dealer buys charged off debts for pennies on the dollar and then tries to collect on them.
