Online free help for finite math
A fourth grade class consists of 16 girls and 12 boys. At the beginning of the year, the teacher must split them into two groups, those who will go to art class on Tuesdays and those who will go to art class on Thursdays. The art room can only accommodate 14 students at a time, so the Tuesday group has to have 14 students and the Thursday group has to have 14 students. (Of course, no one will be in both groups, and every student be in one of the groups.) How many overall outcomes are possible?

Distribute 14 of the 28 students to one room, then the other 14 must go to the other room.
